- Do properly stretching immediately after your runs to recover slightly faster and reduce muscle soreness.
- Drink and eat. See Nutrition section of the site for more information.
- Do some light workout such as cycling or walking later in the day to loosen up your legs.
- Dipping your legs in cool water soon after the run or get a leg massage to reduce muscle soreness and fatigue.
